Our Goin Life

It’s that time of year! The weather is changing the days are shortening, the pumpkins are popping up al over, no I’m not talking about the coming Holiday season, I’m talking about some big birthdays! Andrew will be 3 on Sunday and Paul T will be 1 on Tuesday. The party is Saturday.

I did send out a few invitations but the invite is not limited to those who received a piece of paper in the mail. It is open to any and all who would like a piece of cake!! And of course who want to share in the joy of our children turning one year older.

Here’s a copy of the invite we created. I had this brilliant idea to write a poem for it but couldn’t actually come up with anything myself, so Andy wrote the most of it and then he also put it all together. Of course Andrew helped select pictures to go on it too! Please click the pic to see it full sized.

I’d like to stress the no gifts thing. We would rather have people be there to enjoy the day then to not come because they couldn’t bring a gift for whatever reason. Please just swing by and say hi if you are out and about on Saturday!

One thing about these videos and all of them in general is they really are kind of a glimpse into our lives. You can often hear me and Andy chatting about things. I often point out what is going on and you can hear Andrew talking a lot about what is on his mind, sometimes I have to pull it out of him. I narrate a few with some details of our goings ons. So basically I hope you are all entertained by some of these. They are of course super cute to me but, they are my kids! I think they are the most amazing things in the world!

I believe it is important to get outside even if only for a few minutes each day. Our boys love it! And we often run out into the rain and spin and do rain dances no matter how heavy the downpour. But this evening since it was a light rain and not too chilly we decided to take the boys out for a walk to check the mail. They looked too cute in their hoods!

Not sure what I am doing in that first pic except saying “Take it quick they are standing next to each other!” And yes, Paul T is holding a whisk.

Wow these are really old I guess! But they are still super cute. Our fourth of July celebration at Dan and Lisa’s.

They have a fainting goat and Andy was trying to get it to show off.

Oh sure it was over a year ago, but I just now got to see all the pics. I saved the ones with Andrew in them to share with everyone.

It was over a 100 degrees and we were there for a long time with a 20 month old in a tux so in some of these pics he looks a bit sad. but he really did have fun that day playing in the big backyard the wedding was held in.
